Kubernetes API for Laravel
Artisan & diagnostics
kubernetes:ping verifies connectivity to a cluster by calling its /version endpoint with the cluster’s credentials:
php artisan kubernetes:ping production
# Connected to production — server v1.34.0
php artisan kubernetes:ping
# pings the default cluster (config kubernetes.default)- The argument is a configured or registered cluster name. Without it the command pings the default cluster (kubernetes.default).
- It fails with a readable error when the name is unknown, the cluster has no URL, or the request fails.
- The probe goes through the cluster’s transport — the same per-cluster rate limiter as resource operations, and Kubernetes::fake() answers it in tests.
- In code, Kubernetes::ping() and Kubernetes::cluster('production')->ping() return a bool, and version() returns a VersionInfo DTO (major, minor, gitVersion, gitCommit, buildDate, goVersion, compiler, platform).
php artisan about
The package adds a Kubernetes section to php artisan about — the default cluster, how many clusters are configured, whether rate limiting and adaptive throttling are on, how many resources are registered and the Traefik group. It shows names and counts only, never a URL, token or certificate path:
php artisan about --only=kubernetesShow your open-source love
