# Requirements

- PHP 8.4+
- Laravel 12 or 13
- Pest 4, or Pest 5 on Laravel 13 (since 1.1.0) — the assertions ship as Pest expectations
- Orchestra Testbench 10 or 11 — installed as a dependency; only PackageTestCase and its concerns use it
- A reachable Postgres or MySQL only for the real-engine assertions and driver legs — everything else runs on in-memory SQLite

Install it into require-dev only — the package ships nothing that runs in production. Its own suite runs with:

```bash
composer test
```
