# Requirements

- PHP 8.4+ with ext-hash and ext-mbstring
- ext-sodium for Ed25519 keys and HTTP signatures — enabled by default on modern PHP
- Laravel 12 or 13 — illuminate/\* components only
- SQLite, PostgreSQL or MySQL — every table, lock and race is tested on all three engines
- The Roundly Tier-0 packages package-toolkit-for-laravel, enums-for-laravel and crypto-for-laravel — installed automatically

There is no third-party vendor beyond Laravel itself: the Guzzle PSR-7 factory used for outbound signing arrives through illuminate/http, which Laravel already installs.
