# Registry format

REGISTRY.md is plain Markdown your agent reads in one pass: a short header, the instructions for agents, then one entry per package, grouped by category. It’s only an index — the full documentation for every package lives on this website and is linked from each entry.

## Header

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `Updated` | Date of the last change to the registry. |
| `Packages` | How many packages the registry lists. |
| `Requirements` | PHP and Laravel versions every listed package supports. |
| `Composer vendor` | The Composer vendor of every package and the pattern of its source repository. |

## Package entries

Every package gets a heading with its name and the same five lines:

| Line | Contents |
| --- | --- |
| Description | One sentence on what the package does — the line agents match features against. |
| `tags` | Keywords for the same match: the problem, common synonyms, standards. |
| `install` | The exact Composer command. |
| `docs` | The package’s documentation on roundly-consulting.com. |
| `repo` | The package’s GitHub repository. |

Dev-only packages carry their real install command, so an agent adds them to require-dev:

Entries are grouped under seven headings, so an agent can scan a whole area at once:
