# Requirements

- PHP 8.4 with ext-json and ext-mbstring, plus the extensions the dependencies need: ext-bcmath (money, qr), ext-fileinfo (media-library), ext-phar and ext-zlib (geolocation), and gd or imagick for poster variants
- Laravel 12 or 13
- MySQL 8 or PostgreSQL in production. SQLite runs the package’s own test suite only (the near-me distance uses a registered function there); SQL Server is not supported
- The Roundly packages it builds on, installed by Composer with auto-discovered providers: package-toolkit, enums, money, sluggable, lifecycle, crypto, translatable, media-library, query-builder, qr, geolocation and [tags](https://roundly-consulting.com/open-source/docs/tags-for-laravel.md)
- A queue worker for the notices, the poster variants, geocoding on create and payment requests for holds someone else made
- A scheduler running events:sweep and lifecycle:sweep every minute
- Optional: teams-for-laravel (team organizers), attributes-for-laravel (custom event fields), comments-for-laravel (event discussion) and reviews-for-laravel (post-event reviews) — see Recipes
